These pseudohexagonal calcite crystals are certainly one of the most interesting and unusual you will see from ANY of the myriad of Chinese calcite localities. The sharp, lustrous, translucent crystals have coloress exteriors and striking pseudohexagonal white termination interiors! Crystals reach 1.7 cm and one crystal is twinned and one is doubly terminated! They look just like sugar candy with a cream-filled centers! Specimens of this variety and quality from this locality are VERY RARE on the market. It may be unique. This piece is from the same mine as the new 2011 "bugeye" fluorites.
