Item Description

This facinating tourmaline has amazing etching, form and color. Four prominent areas on the sides of the classic lustrous and translucent "Himalaya pink" body have etched windows, that look into the striking "cityscape" interiors. The lightly etched, gem, pretty apple-green, termination is 4 mm thick. The base is extremely glassy, etched and healed. Technically, this is doubly terminated, watermelon tourmaline, as there is a thin green rind around the crystal. A most unusual, yet beautiful example of Himalaya tourmaline from the Bill Larson Collection. 55 grams.
