Unusual bi-colored Fluorite w/ Calcite (Ross Lillie Coll.)

Item Description

A sculptural, deceiving and unusual large fluorite and calcite combination from the Annabel Lee Mine. The densely mounded moderately lustrous and translucent cubes, to 2.5 cm, look to be mostly deep grape-purple and have striking, unusual, modified stepped-growth corners. The rich sprinkling of glassy calcite scalenohedrons is a super accessory. Backlighting reveals the surprise in the cubes, as they have amber cores.
