unusual Aquamarine (uncommon locale)

Item Description

Beryl specimen are very uncommon from the numerous pegmatites in the Sahatany Valley. This highly unusual aquamarine is from a small find, that came out in 2011. The lustrous, translucent crystal is a gray-blue and has frosted faces. The sharp complex pyramidal termination is gemmy light blue and definitely has the appearance of a scepter, as there is a subtle bulge at the base of the termination. Rare and most unusual Madagascar aquamarine. 9 grams mass.
