Item Description

A fascinating, most sculptural and unusual large old-time combination from this renowned locale. Sparkling, glassy, gray-white to light pastel-pink smithsonite rhombs are festooned on all sides of the bizarre-looking large curved, fluted mass of pseudo-stalactitic galena. Many small twinned and simple cerussite crystals are scattered about. This is a striking large rare style, 360-degree combination piece from the Bob Trimingham Collection and purchased in 1990. Old material from the Upper Oxidized Zone. Ex Paul Patchick Collection and obtained in a trade with John Patrick circa 1960, according to Bob's label. Hefty ore at 997 grams or 2.2 pounds mass. Value of such a unique Tsumeb combination???
