Item Description
A unique and incredibly sculptural combination specimen from the famous Quincy Mine. An amazing, 2.0 cm, tree-like stalk of branching, bright, spinel-twinned silver crystals is dramatically perched atop a striking, free-form sculpture of hackly copper crystals. The tiny silver tree is a super accent. Acanthite coats the upper portions of the silver tree. Portions of the copper have bright iridescence. We have never seen a Copper Country crystallized silver and copper specimen with this surreal form. Undoubtably old-time, highly desirable material. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection # 415. Value? We estimate in the $800-1000 range, for the unique form.
