A unique and amazing pseudomorph in a huge "horn-of-plenty" geode! Sparkly, light purple amethyst and smoky quartz crystals fully line the interior of the geode and have pseudomorphed the outline of very large, blocky, cubic, halite crystals! The base of the huge halite pseudo is 15.2 cm across. This was a large halite crystal! The presentation effect is incredible on this most striking large specimen from the Jaime Bird Collection. Rare for any worldwide locale, but especially from Morocco! We have never seen anything like it from this locale. Value?? We think fairly in the $1500-2000 range. 6.4 pounds or 2.9 kilos.
