Item Description
A SUPERB, very exotic-looking, CABINET, combination specimen from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine. This amazing, two-sided specimen features starbursts of sparkly, colorless, mimetite needles richly scattered amongst tiny rosettes of green malachite. The mimetite and malachite rest on, and partially replace, rust-brown cuprite crystals, that coat the very sculptural, thin matrix crust of sulfides. This is one of the most striking and singular Tsumeb combination specimens, that I have seen. Ex Rob Smith Collection, a noted Tsumeb specialist and fairly valued at $1500-1800 and sold formerly by me about 2 years ago if it looks familiar...edned up in a dealer inventory and I traded it back recently!.
