Unique Drusy Quartz column with Stilbite

The famous quarries around Jalgaon continue to prouduce a stunning variety of specimens and this is certainly a prime example. A unique column of sparkly, gem-like, smoky and colorless, drusy quartz crystals raises above the floor of the very well-prepared CABINET vug and contacts the other side of the vesicle, as basalt is still attached to the tip of the column. A 1.0 cm, gem, amber, calcite rhomb attached to the side of the column is a super accent. Lustrous, colorless, stilbite blades beautifully highlight the undulating floor of the vug covered with smoky, drusy quartz with colorless, drusy quartz on the larger crystals.
