Item Description

Scattered tiny brilliant metallic umangite crystals and rich crusts of tarnished, violet umangite cover the matrix on this rich specimen from near the Type Locality. Umangite is a very rare copper selenide first described in 1891. Malachite on one end is also noted. Ex. Dr. Werner Paar and Josef Vajdak Collections. Comes with a copy of the Dr. Paar label.
