Item Description

Ullmannite is an uncommon Ni-Sb-sulfosalt and is a member of the Cobaltite Group. It is EXTREMELY RARE from Morocco, with only the Imiter Mine reporting the species and is unheard of from Rhar el Anz (MINDAT). Irregardless, this is a VERY FINE sculptural, stacked cluster of matte-finish, lead-gray, cubes to 8 mm with a partial oxide coating (including green). The piece resembles ullmannites from the Masaloni Mine, San Vito, Cagliari Province, Sardinia, Italy, as shown in MINDAT. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and obtained through respected dealers, Scott Williams and the Cureton Mineral Co.
