Item Description

Ullmannite is an uncommon Ni-Sb-sulfosalt and is a member of the Cobaltite Group. Breithauptite is Ni-Sb and is a member of the Nickeline Group. Lustrous, sharp, cubic, ullmannite crystals to 5 mm are aesthetically clustered atop a vein of granular, reddish-metallic breithauptite above a granitic matrix on this showy, excellent, rich and rare, 360-degree combination piece from these old silver mines. Ex Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection and obtained in an exchange in 1977. Three previous collections are listed on his label. RARE on the market in this combination and quality.
