Item Description
Rich solid vein of prismatic crystals of ulexite with high luster, translucence and pearlescent white color. Ulexite, a hydrated borate, is one of the rare beautiful, oddball species that were found at the borate deposits in California. It is also called "TV rock" for its unusual fiber-optic-like optical properties. The ends are contact terminations from coming into contact with the pocket walls. Very fine for the species and very rare as a specimen, instead of simply as cleavage masses!
