Tyuyamunite on Calcite (ex Kay Robertson Collection)

Item Description

Classic, bright yellow micro crystals of Tyuyamunite sitting on Calcite from an undisclosed locality in the Pryor Mts (possibly from the Dandy Mine). We have photographed the piece with a Canon MP-E 65 mm macro lens to better illustrate the quality. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#10485). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017).
