Item Description

The ancient Brixlegg - Schwaz district is the Type Locality for tyrolite and this is a showy and excellent large example from a very obscure area in the district. Gorgeous sprays, to about 7 mm, of lustrous, turquoise-blue tyrolite blades are nicely accented by scattered pods of blue azurite on the sculptural massive quartz matrix.
