Tyrolite (Type Locality area), Malachite & Azurite

Bright, beautiful, greenish-blue, radial clusters of tyrolite crystals and some quartz richly covers the front of the large matrix on this fine piece from a classic Austrian locality - the Brixlegg - Schwaz area, Tyrol. The pods and crusts of azurite and malachite on the sides and back are a nifty accent. Tyrolite is an uncommon copper arsenate and this fine piece is from the Type Locality area. Probably over 100 years old, with the faded label in German glued to the side. This came from an old European collection and such large pieces are hard to come by. valued $500
