Tyrolite

Item Description

Tyrolite is an uncommon secondary copper arsenate found in the oxidized zone of copper deposits. Lustrous, mint-green, radial sprays and crystals richly cover the large blocky matrix and are nicely accented by the contrasting azurite crusts on this very showy, large and highly representative specimen from a historic and extinct Spanish locale - the Delfina Mine. Self-collected by Paco Gutierrez. The piece displays very well from either side.
