A relatively difficult to find specimen of the uncommon secondary Copper Arsenate, Tyrolite from Slovakia. Typically the material is found in the oxidized zone of Copper deposits. This piece features somewhat vitreous acicular "sprays" of blue-green Tyrolite which richly and attractively cover the matrix on this worthwhile and highly representative specimen from the Novoveska Huta Mine. As the name indicates, the type locality for the species the famous Tyrol area of Austria!
