AN EXCELLENT, ultra-glassy, water-clear, twisted, smoky quartz gwindel from the famous Val Giuv of Switzerland. The CLASSIC crystal form displays well from either side. The upper, major portion of the specimen is totally pristine on both sides. It is GLASSY - not just gemmy and clear, but GLASSY in luster, at a high level for the style. Some small contacting near the base certainly does not detract from the overall excellent quality of this beautiful piece. Ex Scott Williams and Evan Jones personal Collections. Fairly valued at $1250-1500. This would be a $2500-plus specimen, if shown in Munich and priced in Euros, in my opinion, based on what I see asked for Swiss material over there. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
