Twisted Smoky Quartz gwindel (Belsky Coll.)

Smoky quartz specimens are uncommon from this Swiss locale. This classic, gem, water-clear, twisted smoky quartz gwindel has gorgeous rich smoky color. All of the highly lustrous crystal faces are glass smooth and one side is nicely accented with lighter colored smokies. Overall, the piece is in excellent condition. The striking crest line is pristine. Both ends of the side with the smaller smokies are contacted, but have no damage, per se. The lower tip on one end of the other side is lightly bruised and the other end has the modest continuation of the contact. This is a superior quality gwindel with rich smoky color and outstanding gemminess. Excellent highly representative material from the Howard Belsky Swiss Collection.
