Item Description
A hard to find specimen featuring blue-green Turquoise (var: Rashleighite) which is covering underlying Quartz matrix on this attractive piece from the Bunny Mine, Cornwall, England. Rashleighite is the ferrian variety of Turquoise and was first reported from this mine. Certainly older material, and nearly impossible to replace on the market. Specimens from this mine are rare. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#3035). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
