Item Description
Rich, attractive specimen of Turquoise from the Battle Mountain Mining District in Nevada. The thick vein of Turquoise courses through the cabinet-sized specimen, and the light blue color is remarkably uniform. Excellent aesthetics, and quite large. From the extensive collection of Bob Reynolds, who cherished both minerals and fossils as he collected. Bob is a prolific author and has had several curating positions in museums. Previously in the collection of Robert F. Herron. A large locality specimen in the rough, ready to be polished or kept as a specimen, native. 281 grams!
