Rich, attractive specimen of Turquoise from the Battle Mountain Mining District in Nevada. The thick vein of Turquoise courses through the cabinet-sized specimen, and the light blue color is remarkably uniform. Excellent aesthetics, and quite large. From the extensive collection of Bob Reynolds, who cherished both minerals and fossils as he collected. Bob is a prolific author and has had several curating positions in museums.
