Turquoise pseudomorph after Apatite (ex Kay Robertson Collection)

Item Description

One of the rarely seen old classic pseudomorphs from Mina, Nevada featuring beautiful blue colored Turquoise which has replaced a hexagonal crystal of Apatite. These are quite uncommon on the market today, but I've seen several species replaced by Turquoise from this locality including Gypsum and Azurite. If you collect thumbnails, pseudomorphs or unusual esoteric minerals, be sure to pick this one up as it's certainly good quality. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#6573).
