Item Description
Beautiful sky-blue turquoise on all sides of the sawed unpolished rhyolite nodule matrix from the Kingman area. The Kingman District is famous for classic Arizona turquoise with fine color. The two labels with the piece name the Duval Open Pit, Kingman, Arizona as the locale. mindat does list a Duval Open Pit for Kingman, Mohave County. Ex Bob Reynolds Collection, a well-known fossil and mineral expert and former Curator of the San Bernardino County Museum. He passed away in 2020. Classic and excellent Arizona turquoise. Mass is 160 grams.
