Item Description
A VERY rarely seen Turquoise specimen from the lesser known Josie May Mine in Colorado. The piece is from Brian Kosnar's personal collection, who obtained it from noted Colorado geologist, Allen Heyl (for whom the species Aheylite was named), who personally collected the piece on the dumps of the mine in 1984. Light blue-green patches of Turquoise sit atop host rock matrix making a unique and very hard to find referenece specimen of this seldom seen material.
