Item Description
Turquoise is rarely seen in crystallized specimen, but the pieces from Lynch Station are world famous for being some of the finest crystallized (albeit micro crystals) of the species extant. This piece features electric blue (similar to Paraiba Tourmaline) micro crystals of Turquoise on Quartz matrix. Beautiful to view up close. We used a Canon MP-E 65 mm macro lens to better illustrate the crystals. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#8192). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
