Item Description
All sides of the thin sculptural small cabinet matrix crust host numerous nodules of beautiful rich sky-blue turquoise on this rich specimen from the Apache Canyon Mine of California. This mine is famed for RARE turquoise pseudomorphs after sharp, hexagonal Beryl crystals, but normal turquoise specimens are under-represented in the MINDAT Photo Gallery for the locale. Ex Bob Reynolds Collection, a well-known fossil and mineral expert and former Curator of the San Bernardino County Museum. He passed away in 2020.
