Item Description
Beautiful powder-blue turquoise crusts richly cover two sides of the vuggy sculptural matrix from this obscure phosphate mine, intermittently active from 1950 to 1981. This is rare, rich, old-time Arkansas turquoise. The material was collected by the mine owner in the 1960s and stashed in his garage. We recently obtained some specimens from him.
