Item Description

A cool old Cornish specimen of Turquoise. I thought this might be considered Rashleighite, which was a valid species, but is now defined as an iron-bearing Turquoise and an intermediary between Chalcosiderite and Turquoise. This piece features beautiful sky blue patches of Turquoise on matrix. The label refers to the piece as a rare crystal druse. Very hard to find on the market, and a must-have for any collection of minerals of Cornwall or a general phosphate collection. The piece comes with a label from Scott Williams.
