Item Description
How often does one see Turquoise on the market, especially from Kazakhstan? We recently picked up this piece at the Tucson Show, from a European dealer. He says it's some of the most chemically pure Turquoise in the world, and has wonderful color and consistency. This piece features a patch of beautiful soft to medium blue Turquoise in host rock matrix. The piece is polished to show off the lovely color and form. A wonderful pattern with stark contrast between the Turquoise and the rock in which it formed. Rare and NEW on the market, so don't miss out. Please note that this material came labeled as coming from "Majkojyn", but I can't find a listing for this locality anywhere, so I'm sticking with Zhilandy as it matches the material perfectly. It's definitely not form Kanatkazgan, as this material is more of a pure blue, and the Kanatkazgan pieces tend to have more green in them.
