Please note, this specimen came to us with an old handwritten label that says it's from "Mohave County, Nevada". The only problem is that there is no Mohave County in Nevada. The piece is most likely from Mohave County, Arizona, but it COULD be from Lander County, Nevada. I'm not a Turquoise expert, but based upon comparison and the opinion of other's I've showed it to, we have decided to list it as coming from Arizona. A lovely blue-green patch of rich Turquoise sits among host rock matrix in this beautiful thumbnail specimen.
