Item Description
A superb and classic specimen of "Turgite" from Peters Mountain. Beautiful iridescent, richly colored botryoidal groups of this mix of Goethite and Hematite sit atop white Quartz matrix. One of the few pieces of this material that I've seen, and honestly this is the best of them. It's big, colorful and highly displayable. A very comparable piece to its cousins from the locality at Graves Mountain, Georgia. Valued at $650.
