Item Description
An incredibly hard to find specimen of Tungstite from the San Antonio de Calacalani Mine in Bolivia. The bright yellow Tungstite forms as an alteration from Ferberite, which can still be seen on this specimen sitting amount the Quartz matrix. A cool rarity for any species collector or for anybody who likes Bolivian minerals. These specimens are virtually impossible to find on the market, so don't miss out. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#5621). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
