Garnet comes in virtually every color of the rainbow. Grossulars are known in a pretty wide color range, from red to green with various shades in between. The famous Tanzanite locality at Merelani produces some very attractive, mint green color Grossular, which sells for top dollar is superb quality gems. This particular piece is a beautiful, very sharp and GEMMY mint green color dodecahedral crystal. The piece is contacted on the back, and looks MUCH BETTER IN PERSON, and it's nearly damage free on the display side, and certainly above average compared to many I've seen from this area.
