This striking, splendent, sharp, dark metallic-gray, ilmenite crystal has THREE distinct twinning planes, all at different angles! It is jauntily set on ironstone matrix. A rare and excellent, old-time ilmenite from this well-known locale in Norway. Ex Dennis Mullane Collection and comes with a faded Burminco label with a September, 1952 date.
