Item Description

The Herb Obodda Collection contained not only rare species of crystallized minerals from his travels opening up Afghanistan and Pakistan, but also of the gem species. This is a STUNNING gemstone cut from a remarkably clean crystal of Triplite. It measures 7.8 x 5.2 mm and is 1.41 carats. In the 1990's, it was priced at $1000 per carat in his inventory, and then set aside to keep with the collection.
