Item Description
Triplite is a phosphate species that is found in various part of the world (mostly pegmatites), but the large percentage of ALL Triplites around the world are essentially black and opaque. It's exceedingly rare to find gem quality Triplites with a bright orange color like this stone ! There was a small find of these crystals and rough in Pakistan several years ago, and they are simply some of the most impressive gems of any phosphate I've seen from any locality. Even though this gem is on the smaller side, you'd be hard pressed to find others on the market, considering that all them were quickly scooped up when they were made available. This particular stone is very attractive, extremely rare, virtually eye clean, bright orange color gem with a "Round Brilliant" cut. A beautiful stone of this amazingly rare material.
