Item Description
Triphylite is an uncommon lithium, iron phosphate found in granite pegamites. This is an excellent intergrown pair of sharp, lustrous crystals with a purplish color. Historically, this locality was famous for such - but they are now rare. Ex Howard Belsky Collection. The Al McGuinness label with the $45 price is over 30 years old, as Howard passed in 1987.
