Item Description
Trinitite is a man-made tektite, generated by heat from the world's first atomic bomb explosion on July 16th, 1945. The sand and other matter in the earth were almost instantly fused into this glassy material. The same thing happens upon a meteorite impact, hence the similarity to a tektite. With access to the Trinity Site highly restricted, Trinitite is thus very uncommon, to say the least!
