Item Description

The detail on this 2.9 cm fully inflated Silurian-aged (444-419 mya) trilobite (Calymene celebra) is excellent, as is presentation of the limestone matrix. This trilobite species is the Wisconsin State Fossil and this is a fine example. The piece displays well without aid. Ex Robert Nowakowski Collection.
