Item Description
A very rare specimen Tremolite, which according to the label is from the Grampielpass, but I can't find a listing that states Tremolite is found at this locality. The label refers to the specimen as a "sun" due to it's semi-radial, flattened formation. This piece host a few "spray"-like groups of sharp, translucent, well-formed, prismatic crystals of a green hue with the largest individual crystal measuring up to 1.7 long on matrix. Excellent quality and VERY rare on the market. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#10394). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
