Tremolite in Muscovite

Item Description

This is perhaps the finest Austrian Tremolite that I have seen. The crystals are a rich grass to forest green, with excellent luster and exceptional form. The elongated crystals grew within a super-fine micaceous schist, and the longest of the Tremolites is about 6 cm. Interestingly, the crystal curves, following the natural grain of the schist. The Tremolites are numerous, and all are of equal quality. For what it is, this is a superb specimen.
