Lustrous, gemmy, flattened prismatic, bright, electric green crystal of Tremolite from the Tanzanite mines of the Merelani Hills. This single crystal has sharp edges and well developed crystal faces with great luster and fantastic color AND it's terminated! When looking at this piece it's hard to believe Tremolite is a relatively common rock forming mineral, but keep in mind only a small percentage of Tremolite occurrences throughout the world produce such beautiful crystals as this! The green color of this piece is just stunning and its gemmy to translucent with almost a shimmering internal play of light. Just a striking thumbnail for the species!
