Tourmaline with Lepidolite

This is a stout, glassy and translucent, bicolored elbaite crystal, measuring 5 cm in length, perched nicely on ivory colored cleavelandite. The crystal is an eye pleasing light pink color except for a 3 mm thick rim of pastel green at the termination. The elbaite is studded with pale purple lepidolite crystals on the prism faces. A classic from 1990s finds in the region, this is a stunning gem crystal that is a full, impressive miniature. 117 grams.. Valued $2000-2500
