Item Description

Here we have a lovely small cabinet specimen featuring a pair of Tourmaline crystals which are mostly black (Schorl) throughout, but if you look closely with a bit of backlighting, you can see that they have beautiful blue terminations. The largest Tourmaline measures 2.5 cm long, and they are associated with a thick, 1.7 cm, hexagonal group of silvery Muscovite along with a beautiful blocky white Microcline crystal and gemmy, prismatic hexagonal Quartz crystals. The piece is close to being a "floater", as it's crystallized on the bottom and nearly complete all around. Valued at $1200.
