Item Description
A wonderful small cabinet / large miniature specimen from the most famous Tourmaline locality in Pakistan. A pair of gorgeous, sharp, lustrous, polychrome Tourmaline crystals which feature blue-green terminations that transition into more of a an olive green hue, and then into a very dark (almost black) green hue throughout the rest of the prisms are beautifully sitting in the center of a gorgeous "rose"-shaped group of bladed off-white colored crystals of Albite (var "Cleavelandite"). The piece is nearly a complete "floater" as it is crystallized on all sides, but a few contacts prevent it from being a true "floater". No major damage on the display side, and the piece sits well on its own without the aid of a base or clay. The piece comes with a couple dealer labels, one of which states the piece is from the collection of Heinz Gugeler. Valued at $1,500 retail.
