Item Description

From a find in the late Fall of 2005 in Pakistan. This is a nice association specimen from the most famous Tourmaline locality in Pakistan. The crystal on this piece measures 3.1 x 2.1 cm, and for the most part it is black in color, but under strong light, it shows an attractive dark yellow-green hue. The crystal sits on a mound of associated with white blades of Albite (var: Cleavelandite). The prism faces of the Tourmaline are rather lustrous for this material, but the termination is just as lustrous, which is NOT common for these crystals in my experience. This is a good display piece and a nice pegmatite specimen from a classic locality. These piece are becomingly increasingly difficult to find in today's market.
