Item Description
A superb diverging spray of tourmaline crystals from Virgem da Lapa, known more for topaz than tourmaline. This is actually quite old material, classic in style, from the 1960s and early 1970s. The very glassy, highly lustrous, translucent crystals have a nice olive-green color to them. This is large, complete all-around, exceptional quality material from this locale. One side is undulating and one side is flattened. Very nearly pristine, with only a couple of barely noticable bruised terminations on smaller crystals. Older material from the 1970s from the William Hiss Collection. Valued at $1500-2000. NOT repaired, and thus Rare in this quality and size. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
