Tourmaline w/ Quartz

Item Description

Gorgeous pink, gem elbaite sections are festooned on all sides of the sculptural feldspar matrix from a recent find from this large pegmatite field. The rubellites are nicely accented by drusy quartz and quartz crystal sections. This is a colorful and excellent example from a locale, that has surprisingly produced a limited number of mineral specimens and species (these turned up at the 2013 Munich Show).
