Tourmaline (var. Rubellite) on Quartz

Item Description

Very cute little example of the famous and recent mushroom-habit Tourmalines out of Mogok. This lovely thumbnail/small miniature has good luster and form, and the rich rose color is attractive, especially with the crystals having good translucense. The 1 cm mushroom sits perfectly above a larger Quartz, and the larger Tourmalines nestle against the Quartz, creating a nice aesthetic piece. None of the Tourmalines is quite complete on the back (contacted), as to be expected.
